Job Description

The ideal candidate will be actively involved in, financial accounting, payroll, service level agreements and monthly reporting. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset. ResponsibilitiesFinanceEnsure accuracy of the General Ledger and perform monthly balance sheet and key income statement reconciliations.Prepare monthly GL journal entries and review debtor, creditor, cashbook, inventory, and fixed asset sub-ledgers.Load and process banking details and daily payments.Submit VAT, Import VAT, Royalty Tax, PAYE, and related taxes on ITAS.Analyse the income statement.Submit VET levy and training refund claims.Manage foreign currency translations and FX contracts.Address queries from the Financial Director.Contribute to monthly BI reporting.Manage fixed assets.Reconcile income tax and deferred tax.Assist with annual external audit and financial statements.PayrollCapture Data and processing of BCX Internal Payroll Execute all month-end reports and reconciliationsExecute a payroll function and third party paymentsHandle payroll queries from staffService Level AgreementsPrepare customer service level agreements and supporting schedules for billing the customers over a period of time.Prepare annual increase letters for the customers.Monthly reconciling of all service level agreement invoices for correctness and completeness.Qualifications3+ years' of professional experience in Accounting and Financial ManagementBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experienceArticles at any audit firm is an advantageCPA preferred1-2 years’ experience in payroll processing and administrationSpecial Requirements:Clean ITC record
