Senior Accountant – Project Assignment (Dubai/Ajman – Steel industry – 6 months)Digi Visions is recruiting a Senior Accountant on behalf of BR Steel, a leading industrial player in the UAE steel sector.This is a project-based assignment for BR Steel, managed in collaboration with Digi Visions. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial management and reporting within a dynamic industrial environment. With a strong background in manufacturing or industrial organisations, the role will focus on maintaining robust accounting systems, cost management, and compliance with UAE regulations..About the BR Steel Project:BR Steel operates a plant producing steel pipes, billets, and rebars. The current multimillion dollar financing initiative aims to raise both capex and opex funding to support a capacity expansion from 150 kt/y to over 500 kt/y and beyond — a transformative step in the company’s growth.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and maintain full financial records in accordance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and UAE accounting standards.Conduct variance analysis to monitor costs, revenues, and margins.Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings with accuracy and timeliness.Liaise with auditors and ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.Provide actionable insights to management for decision-making and efficiency improvements.Coordinate with operational teams to align financial reporting with production and supply chain realities.Profile:Minimum 7 years’ accounting experience in an industrial/manufacturing organisation (UAE or GCC preferred).Prior experience in manufacturing, industrial, or steel-related projects is an advantageStrong command of accounting standards, financial systems, and internal controls.Self-driven professional, able to work independently and deliver within deadlinesExcellent analytical and presentation skillsDemonstrated ability to design and implement costing models.Audit experience (internal or external) is a strong plus.Previous work experience in the UAE is highly valued.Advanced Excel and ERP knowledge; experience with industrial ERP systems preferred.Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.Fluency in English and Arabic.Additional Requirements:Willingness to be based in the UAE and work within industrial factory settings.Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage deadlines under pressure.Develop and oversee costing models for production and operations.Why Apply?Join a leading industrial organisation in the UAE with ambitious growth plans.Play a pivotal role in financial management within a production-focused environment.Opportunity to add value through cost control, audit readiness, and financial strategy.Exposure to a dynamic industrial sector with strong future prospects.
