Project descriptionWe are looking for a suitable candidate for the position of Senior Accounting Specialist in our local accounting team in Luxoft Belgrade.ResponsibilitiesResponsibility for proper management of all accounting records in accordance with accounting regulations and, external policies and proceduresTimely submission of monthly VAT settlementsPreparation/supervision of WHT and other local reportsDocumentation supervisionTax CompliancePreparation of Statutory Financial Statements, calculation of deferred taxCF managementSubmission of monthly, quarterly, annual statistical reportsResponsibility for preparing accounting policies and necessary accounting procedures.Preparing monthly/quarterly revenue reporting and analyticsProvide internal, external Ad-Hoc reports.Contribute to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.Work with multiple teams across the organization to assist with deal review and month-end close responsibilities.Constant education and monitoring of accounting and tax regulations and their implications on the company's accounting policies and operations.Cooperation with auditors and offices in the field of external audits and controlsPerform other tasks as ordered by the immediate supervisor in connection with the aboveMust have skillsHigher education in finance and accountingMinimum 5 years relevant experience in an accountingGood knowledge of IFRS accounting principlesGood knowledge of local accounting and tax regulationsOpenness to challenges, communicativeness, ability to build relationships in a teamReliability and confidentialityEnjoyment of further education and team spiritCollaborative TeamworkAnalytical person with strong logical thinkingStrong communication skillsFluent in English and advanced computer skillsNice to haveOpenness to challenges, communicativeness, ability to build relationships in a teamReliability and confidentialityEnjoyment of further education and team spiritCollaborative TeamworkAnalytical person with strong logical thinkingStrong communication skillsFluent in English and advanced computer skillsKnowledge of US GAAP is desirableLanguagesEnglish: C1 Advanced
