You’ll be working directly with senior leadership and clients, handling a wide variety of work, and contributing to the evolution of a growing practice.This role is ideal if you’re returning to work, tired of big-firm pressures, or prefer staying hands-on with the work rather than managing people.🧩 What You’ll Be Doing You’ll need to be comfortable and capable with the full spectrum of public practice services, including:Bookkeeping and account reconciliationBAS preparation and lodgementFinancial statements and income tax return preparation Assisting with payroll tax, QBCC, FBT and other ad hoc compliance tasksAssisting with tax planning, management reporting and other business advisory services Liaising with clients to answer queries and provide professional supportCollaborate with leadership on process improvements and growth  ✅ What We’re Looking For Experience & QualificationsCA or CPA qualified4+ years’ experience in Australian public practice (firm size doesn’t matter)Strong generalist background across a range of services and client typesExperience with more complex tax areas including Capital Gains Tax, Division 7A, and trust taxationProficiency in accounting software (e.g. Xero preferred) and advanced Excel skillsRight to work in Australia without sponsorship requirementsSkills & AttributesHighly organised and self-managingSharp attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWilling to help out wherever needed Genuine interest in professional and personal growthPassionate about doing meaningful work with good people🕓 Flexible Working Arrangements Available to work from the office, but flexible hybrid options availableOpen to both full-time or part-time arrangements — let’s chat about what works for you🚀 Why Join Us? Genuine opportunity to shape and grow with a boutique practiceFriendly, down-to-earth team with shared valuesNo rigid hierarchy or red tape — just good people doing good workA role where your contribution truly matters💬 Sound like you?We’d love to hear from you.
