About the opportunityProfilerConsulting is recruiting on behalf of a global leader in the luxury industry, with an established presence in Brussels and operations across Benelux.We are seeking a Senior Accountant, based in Brussels, to join the Benelux Accounting team. You will collaborate closely with accounting colleagues and work cross-functionally with FP&A, Custumer Service, and other departments.Main responsibilitiesLead monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings, ensuring accuracy of accruals and depreciationsMaintain and reconcile General Ledger accounts, payroll, and intercompany balancesRecord and review sales, COGS, Capex invoices, and manage depreciation parametersIssue and reconcile intercompany invoices, resolving discrepancies proactivelyPrepare statutory declarations: VAT, Intrastat, STATBEL, CBS, and corporate income tax.Draft annual accounts and ensure timely submission to authoritiesSupport external audits through preparation of audit files, reconciliations, and documentationPerform cash flow analysis, forecasting, and periodic Balance Sheet reporting in SyrusDrive process improvements, harmonization initiatives, and participate in accounting projectsSkills and Attributes for Success:Master’s degree in business management, finance, or equivalent.7+ years of proven accounting experience, preferably in an international environment.Fluent in French or Dutch, with a very good command of the other language, as well as EnglishStrong knowledge of Belgian accounting principles, VAT, and tax regulations.Why Join?This is a unique opportunity to join a prestigious global group where excellence, innovation, and sustainability drive every aspect of the business.
