With a strong reputation for technical excellence and client service, the firm offers a modern, people-focused environment where professionals can thrive and progress.The RoleAs Senior Accountant, you’ll take responsibility for a portfolio of clients, working closely with managers and partners to deliver high-quality accounting and advisory services.Your responsibilities will include:Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.Preparing management accounts and supporting clients with financial reporting.Drafting corporation tax computations and assisting with personal tax compliance.Reviewing the work of junior colleagues and providing guidance and training.Liaising directly with clients to resolve queries and provide tailored advice.Supporting managers and partners on more complex assignments and advisory projects.Ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining high technical and service standards.About YouThe successful candidate will:Be ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with strong practice experience.Have a solid technical grounding in accounts preparation and tax compliance.Be confident in reviewing the work of junior colleagues and supporting their development.Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.Be proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple assignments effectively.Show ambition and enthusiasm for continued professional growth.What’s on Offer£42,000 – £52,000 pa (DOE)Competitive salary and benefits package.Generous holiday allowance.Flexible hybrid working arrangements.Tailored learning and development opportunities.Company pension scheme.Responsibility for your own client portfolio.Opportunity to mentor and develop junior staff.Exposure to a wide range of clients and assignments.A supportive, friendly, and collaborative working environment.A healthy work-life balance with genuine flexibility.The OpportunityThis is a great chance to be part of a growing regional practice where people are at the heart of everything.
