Senior Accountant

About the RoleAs a Senior Accountant based in Jakarta, Indonesia, you are a detail-oriented and independent team-player who manages the full scope of financial and accounting.Key Responsibilities:Manage full scope of financial and accounting responsibilities including but not limited to month end closing, monthly reconciliation of the accounts, preparing monthly and annual financial statements, and cash management.Analyse financial performance of the Company and provide commentary/recommendations.Provide support and review tax reports to be submitted to Direktorat Jenderal Pajak. Ensure compliance with tax statutory requirements.Manage budgeting and monthly cashflow forecasts.Prepare audit schedules and work closely with external auditors for completion of statutory audit.Process Withholding tax, Value-Added tax (VAT), and income taxContribute to and support automation and enhancement of business processes.Key Requirements:Minimum Degree in Accountancy/Finance or ACCA or equivalent. Certifications such as Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) are a bonus.Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.Excellent command in English (written and spoken) is a must-have, to liaise with internal stakeholders based across the region.Strong knowledge of accounting, internal controls, tax and treasury, as well as various types of corporate taxation and rulesIndependent team player who thrives on cross-functional and regional collaboration.About Spruson & Ferguson:Spruson & Ferguson is one of the leading intellectual property (IP) service firms operating in the Asia-Pacific region.
