Job Description
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing your own book of clients, managing a team of junior bookkeepers, and delivering exceptional client services.What You'll Do:Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clientsManage weekly and monthly client communicationsSupervise 1-3 bookkeepers, reviewing their work for accuracy and timelinessPerform and review month-end close, general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reportingReconcile tax returns to books and recordsSet up and manage cloud-based accounting systems and integrationsIdentify and recommend process or technology improvementsEnsure all deliverables are completed on time and within budget. RequirementsFluent English or C1 equivalent is required3-5 years of experience managing or supervising bookkeepers or staff accountantsProficiency in QuickBooks and XeroStrong understanding of accrual-basis and GAAP accountingExperience with cloud-based accounting systemsPreferred: exposure to public accounting, consulting, eCommerce, technology, or real estate industriesBenefitsCompensation: $4000-$4500 USD/month + variable compensation eligibility after 6 monthsPTO: 2 weeks + + US or local holidaysUnlimited PTO after the 1st yearFully remote work environment
