About the role: As a Senior Accountant specialising in BAS, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional accounting services to our clients. You will have the opportunity to apply your expertise in preparing complex budgets/forecasts, monthly financial reporting/dashboards, year-end financial statements (including some large consolidations), and providing valuable insights to help our clients optimise their financial performance.

This role is perfect for an experienced and ambitious accountant who is highly organised, structured in approach, enjoys working in a collaborative environment and thrives in an agile and fast-paced setting.

Assist in delivering vCFO services including budgeting, forecasting and financial reportingPrepare complex financial statements, including large consolidations and compilationsPrepare monthly reports, forecasts, and tax related documentationGradually take on direct client relationship responsibilities, becoming a key point of contact and trusted advisor over timeParticipate in advisory projects, providing insights and support aligned with client needsContribute to business development activities and commercial projectsProvide guidance to the junior team and contribute to a positive team cultureAbout you:

Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting in a CA environmentHigh proficiency in Excel for financial modelling, analysis and reportingHigh proficiency in XeroFamiliarity with most off-the-shelf accounting systems, e. g.

MYOBHigh performing and results driven individualStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsActs with integrity and delivers on their own commitments and supports others to do the sameAbility to demonstrate a strong attention to detail while maintaining awareness of broader business considerationsBachelor's degree in accounting or related fieldProfessional certification - or in progress (CA or CPA) is preferredLegal right to work in New ZealandAbout Our CultureOur team members tell us that it is the people here that make the difference.
