Job Description

Responsibilities JOB DESCRIPTION Adhere to established manufacturing procedures and provide direct support for plant-to-plant product transfers and new product development programs. Support Vertiv manufacturing operations using standard processes, equipment, and manufacturing methods. Identify and justify Advance Manufacturing key processes and equipment. Provide support for manufactured cost analyses of new and existing products. Assist in the development and release of standardized manufacturing documentation such as workmanship standards, work instructions, drawings, and BOMs. Implement best manufacturing practices for existing processes and provide engineering support. Oversee the development and execution of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma projects for Vertiv manufacturing facilities. Research and lead new manufacturing technologies and practices. Coordinate cross-plant problem-solving teams to improve operating performance and meet business objectives. Assist with business-critical capital projects including facility planning, layout, and cost justification. Develop and implement manufacturing plans for new products. Technical Advisor for Vertiv manufacturing facilities. Specify manufacturing process capabilities and develop Process FMEAs to improve product manufacturability and quality. Required PC working knowledge Facility or Production Line Layout development Strong Mechanical aptitude Knowledge of assembly and fabrication processes Knowledge of Design tools, methods, and new technologies Basic knowledge about vendor analysis Effective use of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma process improvement tools Time Travel NeededUp to 10%OUR CORE PRINCIPALS: Safety.
