We are seeking to modernise the administration of justice by replacing highly manual, time-consuming, paper-based process with a new digital case management solution transforming the way people access and experience justice in Aotearoa New Zealand.Te Au Reka is a large, complex, and unique programme spanning the courts and tribunals of New Zealand. In delivering Te Au Reka, we are seeking to build the Ministry's capability to deliver complex programmes of change. Working on Te Au Reka will give you the opportunity to use your knowledge and experience, while developing new ways of working. We are building a team who are comfortable working in a fast changing environment, providing leadership, and working in collaborative ways both across the programme and with the business, to plan and implement change using best practice change management approaches and frameworks. This role will contribute to a better experience for our people, individuals and whānau going through our court system. Te Au Reka is a game-changer, and we care deeply about making it a success.Te Haeata/The OpportunityAs a Senior Change Advisor, you will support the Change Manager in designing and implementing robust change management strategies and initiatives that maximise employee adoption and transition to a new way of working.You will be an experienced senior professional having worked at enterprise level in a public sector organisation or in similar roles in the private sector for at least -five years or more. You will relish working in ambiguous, complex environments that include multiple stakeholders. You will be comfortable and familiar with navigating the hierarchy of a large organisation and its governance structure. You will use your skills and experience to build connections across Te Au Reka to influence our focus in the appropriate directions. You will use your critical thinking skills to problem solve, and use your strategic thinking skills to ensure the embedding of change will enable benefit realisation. You will apply your broad knowledge in change processes to support and contribute to the success of the Te Au Reka Programme.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support the development of change strategies, impact assessments, communications, coaching, and resistance management plans.Facilitate sessions with groups, draw out information to inform recommendations and activity for how change will be led and managed successfully.Contribute to business readiness assessments and risk mitigation strategies.Work with people across the business and programme to plan and implement change initiatives.Collaborate across cross-functional teams to embed change and deliver programme benefits.Ō Pūkenga/Skills And ExperienceTo be successful in this position you will have:A relevant qualification or familiarity of change management frameworks and tools, principles, and methodologies. (E.g. : Prosci ADKAR Model)Knowledge of how organisations adapt and transform by aligning people, systems, and process.The ability to establish, maintain and influence a range of effective internal and external business relationships and networks.Experience in effective relationship management including relating effectively with managers and staff at all levels.Experience in providing written reports, presentations, and other collateral to a high standard.Experience in a change project environment, supporting projects with multiple workstreams and competing pressures.Critical and strategic thinking skills.Leadership skills.5 or more years' experience in change management and/or operating model change environments.An understanding of the court environment and the way in which our courts work would be advantageous (but not essential).Utu ā-tau/Salary The appointing salary for this role will be based on skills and experience:Between $97,208 and $135,539 for a Senior Advisor.Tono mai/ApplyFor more information click the Apply button below to be directed to our Careers website.
