This permanent, full-time role offers a unique opportunity to directly impact the delivery of safe, reliable, and customer-focused rail transport by managing critical rail service contracts that keep our network moving.This permanent, full-time role offers a unique opportunity to directly impact the delivery of safe, reliable, and customer-focused rail transport by managing critical rail service contracts that keep our network moving.As a Senior Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in managing and administering the Rail Transport Service Contract (Rail TSC) between TMR (Purchaser) and Queensland Rail (Service Partner), along with other passenger rail transport service agreements. Your work will help ensure value for money and high-quality outcomes for customers across Queensland's rail network.Some Of Your Responsibilities Will Include Contribute to the management of day-to-day contract obligations including assessment and processing of service provider reports, financial payments, internal reporting requirements and governance arrangements. Assist in maintaining the contract management framework for monitoring and measuring the performance of rail services to support value for money and customer service outcomes on behalf of the State. Consult and collaborate with stakeholders on contract management matters across both public and private sector organisations including, but not limited to, other areas of TMR and rail operators such as Queensland Rail. Provide advice to senior executives and the Minister, including preparing periodic contract performance reports, briefing notes and general correspondence, ensuring the provision of accurate, timely and well written materials, targeted to the audience.About YouWe recognise and celebrate that everyone is unique and seek the applicant best suited to the role. To thrive in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:Mandatory Qualifications And Conditions Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.Requirements Of The Role Demonstrated understanding of contract administration and management principles and core tasks including contractual obligation tracking, fulfilling financial obligations, performance monitoring and maintaining effective governance arrangements. Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working.
