The role encompasses hands-on development, architecture thinking, and knowledge-sharing across teams.Example early use cases may include:Identifying products in imagesSummarizing large volumes of reviews into concise outputsTagging images based on an internal taxonomy (e.g., style, room)ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain AI-enabled services within the content management areaEvaluate when and how specific AI solutions should be appliedMentor and support less experienced engineers on AI concepts and toolingBuild and integrate services using Golang and TypeScriptDeploy and optimize AI workloads on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on requirements and delivery outcomesContribute to defining and maintaining best practices for AI usage across the organizationCore CompetenciesStrong knowledge of AI & Machine Learning, including state-of-the-art featuresHands-on experience with GolangHands-on experience with TypeScriptExperience deploying workloads on GCPStrong understanding of content intelligence (tagging, summarization, image analysis)Ability to mentor and coach less experienced engineersStrong interpersonal and communication skillsNice to HaveImage classification / computer vision experienceExperience with custom taxonomy-based taggingPrior consulting experienceWho You AreYou are a proactive and curious engineer with strong hands-on experience in AI and modern development practices.
