Joining Beacon Power Services means contributing to impactful projects that drive sustainable development in Africa.Role Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager with extensive expertise in Artificial Intelligence to lead the strategy, development, and delivery of innovative AI-powered products and features.This role is perfect for a strategic thinker with a strong technical background who can drive product vision, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and identify use cases for AI technologies across diverse product domains, ultimately transforming these into market-leading solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals, be user-focused, and excel in high-ambiguity, high-impact environments. A strong technical foundation is essential, including a deep understanding of machine learning workflows, model evaluation, and the limitations of AI systems.Additionally, the candidate must demonstrate exceptional leadership and problem-solving skills, maintain composure in high-pressure situations, and be highly driven.Key Responsibilities Define the product vision and strategic direction for AI-driven features and services.  Translate business needs into technical requirements and establish a product roadmap.  Collaborate closely with data scientists, AI engineers, UX designers, and business stakeholders to build scalable and impactful AI capabilities.  Clearly communicate the technical aspects of AI models, machine learning algorithms, and data requirements to both technical and non-technical audiences.  Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify opportunities within AI energy products.  Prioritize features and manage the product backlog using Agile methodologies.  Lead go-to-market strategies and coordinate efforts across marketing, sales, and customer success teams.  Monitor key internal AI product metrics, analyze performance, and identify areas for improvement.  Stay informed about emerging AI technologies, trends, and best practices to ensure solutions remain innovative.  Mentor junior product managers and promote a customer-centric, data-driven product culture.  Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years focused on AI,machine learning, or data-driven product.Strong understanding of AI technologies such as natural language processing,computer vision, recommendation systems, or predictive analytics.Key Knowledge, Skill, and Attribute:Proven track record of successfully launching AI products or features that deliverbusiness value.Experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering, data science, UX,marketing).Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear product requirements andbusiness value propositions.Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.Familiarity with Agile and Lean product management frameworks.Benefits:Competitive compensation packagesProvision of medical insurance, pension, and other benefitsOur flexible work schedule enhances work/life balance.Corporate learning opportunities internally and externally
