Senior Analyst, FP&A

The Senior FP&A Analyst will be responsible to ensure that the Director of FP&A, CAO and senior leadership receive timely and accurate information to support decision making– this means you will be at the center of the information flow, working with all departments / teams. You will be a subject matter expert for internal reporting and data management. The company has 2 core businesses, The Machine Clothing (MC) segment -is the world’s leading producer of custom-designed fabrics and belts essential to production in the paper, nonwovens, and other process industries and Engineered Composites (EC) is a rapidly growing supplier of highly engineered composite parts for the aerospace industry.Responsibilities & Key AreasIn the performance of their respective tasks and duties all employees are expected to exhibit the following core company values: Albany wins together, count on each other, own your actions, care about each other, share your enthusiasm.Support the Sr. FP&A Director to ensure all reporting needs are metOwn planning & reporting solutions and have responsibility for data accuracyAssist in building complex models to support analysis and in-depth look at financial driversAssist in coordination and consolidation of budgets / forecasts globallyPartner with IT, Accounting, HR and Business groups to drive enhancements and improve data infrastructureSupport Corporate annual budgeting and rolling forecast processesAssist in preparing monthly financial reports for Leadership describing results to date, forward projections compared to budget and commentary around noticeable trendsPrepare PowerPoint presentations for leadershipSpecial projects as requiredShiftDayShift Information9/80Experience/Education/SkillsPreferred Experience/Characteristics/ Competencies & EducationBachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting with 4+ years of FP&A/ Accounting experienceCPA strongly preferredMBA and/or CMA a plusManufacturing background with knowledge of cost accounting, GAAP, budgeting and financial analysisFunctional knowledge of SAP; S4 Hana experience a plusFunctional knowledge of Oracle Planning/Budgeting and Consolidation toolsAbility to work with multiple data sourcesExperience with financial modelingExcellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skillsStrong financial analysisGood business acumenAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills; working knowledge of Pivot Tables and functions within ExcelFlexible mindset and ability to work independentlyRemuneration & Benefits/ OtherLocation: Portsmouth, NH, full-time in office, 9/80 schedule: Week 1: 9 hours Mon–Thu, 8 hours Friday.
