In this role, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and clients, architect high-impact data solutions, and contribute directly to AI-driven and analytics-focused product initiatives.This role is ideal for someone who is equal parts thinker and doer, a hands-on technical leader who thrives in ambiguous environments and takes full ownership of deliverables.What you'll doLead the design, development, and deployment of scalable analytics solutions and data modelsProactively navigate ambiguity by breaking down problems, proposing structured solution options, and driving clarity with stakeholdersFormulate, compare, and present multiple technical approaches, guiding clients and internal teams toward the best path forwardArchitect and build high-quality data pipelines and analytics layers that support insights, reporting, and machine learning use casesCollaborate directly with clients to understand challenges, translate them into actionable technical requirements, and communicate progress effectivelyLead, mentor, and collaborate with cross-functional team members including DAs, DEs, ML Engineers, and FE/BE developersContribute to the development of internal data products, accelerators, and AI-powered solutionsWhat You BringExpert proficiency in SQL and Python with the ability to solve complex data logic and optimization problemsStrong foundation in machine learning, statistics, and applied mathematicsDemonstrated experience working on AI initiatives and data productsWorking knowledge of major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)Experience architecting end-to-end data solutions and working directly with clients or business stakeholdersAbility to work independently with full ownership and accountabilityProven track record of navigating ambiguity with a proactive, problem-solving mindsetExperience leading or collaborating with diverse technical teamsPrevious experience in a data- or ML-focused company or project (required)Nice to haveExperience with modern data stack tools (dbt, Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery)Exposure to data governance, observability, or MLOpsExperience building internal tools or acceleratorsWhy You’ll Love Working at ShyftLabsAt ShyftLabs, your work matters.
