About this Position The Senior Area Sales Manager is empowered to and holds full accountability for Henkel business performance within the assigned area via daily, weekly, and monthly activities in liaison with both, internal and external stakeholders.What You´ll DoExecutes sales strategy and develops action plans for area of responsibility in line with strategic prioritiesDelivers sales and distribution targets (KP OSG and PC % and / or GP% targets) in the assign area of responsibilityLeads, coaches and mentors sales team members and ensures their respective education and developmentEnsures efficient geographical coverage and cross-selling opportunities to achieve full business potentialMonitors sales team’s daily activity to ensure KPIs are met and standards followedCoordinates the daily operations with the internal and external stakeholdersBuilds excellent relationship with the distributor & key customersActively controls and steers the order and payment cycle (collection) with the distributor, as well as retail customersManages stock level at distributor and ensures FIFO principles are followed at each POSControls Henkel product pricing on shelf and the service quality level for all assigned customersPrepares sales forecasts and liquidation plans as per the requirementIdentifies new growth opportunities and brings them forward to the line managerEnsures a good maintenance of Henkel POSM in the market and takes initiative for any improvements requiredSupports the team and customers with the required technical knowledgeSupports marketing department with any market intelligence data requiredThe Sr. ASM will dedicate 70% of his/her time in the market, managing and coaching the sales team via daily activities What makes you a good fit Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business AdministrationGood command of English and Arabic is a mustMinimum 10 years of sales experience, preferably FMCG, out of which minimum 2 years in a senior roleLeadership skills to steer the team on daily basis – people management experience is a mustDistributor management experience is a mustRetail and van sales operations experience requiredMS Office Proficiency and solid business acumen requiredGood communication and negotiation skillsStrong follow-up skills and high determination to achieve resultsProactive, positive, enabler & team player mindsetAt Henkel, we come from a broad range of backgrounds, perspectives, and life experiences.
