Te Whiwhinga mahi - The OpportunityWe are seeking a Senior Asset Engineer to take ownership of AT's Transport Structures and Public Transport data, ensuring that the information in our RAMM and SPM asset management systems is kept accurate and up to date. The Senior Asset Engineer will also support Asset Portfolio Managers across the range of asset management activities.A typical day may include:Work closely with asset providers (internal and external stakeholders) to ensure information and data is reliable, timely and accurately captured.Support the Asset Management team to enhance decision making and reporting capabilities.Provide technical support to the Asset Management team to enable the monitoring of changes in asset status, including new assets.Work closely with the Asset Systems team and wider Auckland Transport and Auckland Council GIS teams, to enhance decision making and reporting capabilities.Work closely with stakeholders regarding asset ownership, boundary/encroachment agreement, maintenance responsibilities etc.Work with Asset Portfolio Managers and Asset Management consultants to develop, prioritise and deliver asset inspection programmes and asset renewals programmes.Undertake Asset Management improvement activities to ensure AT achieves continuous improvement in asset managementNā tāu rourou | What will you bring?Relevant degree in Engineering or equivalent.Member of relevant professional institution.10 years' experience in asset management, preferably including some or all of roading, bridge, rail station, bus station or wharf structures.Proven experience in asset data and information managementExtensive knowledge of asset management tools (RAMM, SPM) and/or other asset systemsSound understanding of the works and processes of local government, including current and future business drivers and statutory requirements.Ko mātou tēnei | Our OrganisationAt AT, we embrace inclusion and fully support building a diverse workplace where people come first and we feel safe, respected, valued and supported, inclusive of our differences. Our values are more than just words - they are integral to everything we do.
