You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external counsel to protect NxtWave’s legal and commercial interests while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and diligence.⚖️ Key ResponsibilitiesLitigation Management & Dispute ResolutionManage and oversee all ongoing and potential litigation across civil, criminal, consumer, labor, and regulatory domains. Develop pre-litigation and preventive strategies to reduce legal exposure. Draft, review, and finalize legal notices, complaints, affidavits, rejoinders, police complaints, and show-cause notices. Liaise with law enforcement agencies for complaints, FIRs, and related matters. Coordinate with external legal counsel, track case progress, and ensure timely filings, appearances, and submissions. Represent NxtWave and its Directors before courts, tribunals, and regulatory authorities when required. Maintain comprehensive litigation trackers and case files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date. Provide legal opinions and strategy notes to senior management and relevant departments. Support settlement negotiations, mediation, and arbitration proceedings. Regulatory & Compliance SupportAssist in responding to notices, summons, and inquiries from statutory authorities. Support ongoing regulatory compliance initiatives across company functions. Monitor developments in laws and regulations, assessing their impact on business operations. Risk Assessment & MitigationIdentify potential litigation risks and propose strategic mitigation plans. Advise management on preventive legal measures to reduce business exposure. Contract Management & Legal DocumentationReview, draft, and negotiate vendor, client, and service agreements, ensuring alignment with legal and business objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate contractual risks and ensure compliance with statutory norms. General Legal SupportSupport the Legal & Compliance Team in daily advisory, documentation, and coordination tasks. Participate in internal brainstorming sessions and strategic discussions regarding legal policies and business operations. 🎓 QualificationsPosition Experience Requirement Manager – Litigation Minimum 5+ years of experience in litigation management in law firms or corporate legal teams. Assistant Manager – Litigation Minimum 4+ years of experience in litigation and dispute resolution. Senior Associate – Litigation Minimum 2+ years of experience managing disputes, court cases, or regulatory proceedings.Educational Qualification:Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Law (LLB/LLM) from a recognized university. 🧠 Skills & CompetenciesStrong understanding of civil, criminal, and commercial laws, especially contract law and corporate litigation.
