About The RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Associate/Senior Associate, Payment Partnerships to support the performance and growth of Klook’s global consumer payments. This role sits within the Payments team and is responsible for managing key acquiring partners, supporting commercial and performance initiatives, and working cross-functionally to enhance the checkout experience for our users.The ideal candidate has a strong interest in fintech or e-commerce payments, solid business acumen, and a proactive mindset. You’ll play a key role in driving payment success rates, cost efficiency, and user experience across global markets.ResponsibilitiesSupport the day-to-day management of acquiring partners and PSPs, including issue tracking, documentation, and performance monitoringAssist in the analysis of payment performance metrics (e.g., approval rate, cost per transaction, fraud impact) and translate insights into actionable recommendationsCollaborate with internal stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Finance, Fraud, Operations) to resolve payment-related issues and roll out new payment methodsHelp assess and prioritize new payment partners or optimization initiatives based on commercial and user impactAssist in preparing business reviews and performance summaries for both internal and external stakeholdersSupport contract reviews, pricing negotiations, and partner billing validationKeep up to date with industry trends and market-specific payment preferences to support global expansion and local optimizationContribute to ongoing efforts to improve payment conversion, reduce costs, and enhance checkout experienceRequirements2–4 years of experience in payments, fintech, e-commerce, or a related fieldProficiency in written and spoken Chinese is required to manage key regional partners and support cross-border collaborationDemonstrated strong business acumen with an understanding of how payments impact cost, conversion, and user experienceFamiliarity with online acquiring, PSPs, card schemes, and APMs is preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to interpret data and draw meaningful insightsEffective communicator who is comfortable working with external partners and internal stakeholders across regionsHighly organized, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple prioritiesGrowth mindset with a proactive attitude and desire to develop deeper subject matter expertise in paymentsWhy Join UsBe part of a team driving payment performance across a global travel platformWork with cutting-edge PSPs and payment technologies in an evolving ecosystemGain hands-on exposure to both the operational and commercial side of payments
