About Us: Bridge Ventures is a multi-asset family office with a focus on private equity and venture capital investments. In addition to our investment activities, the family office manages operational and financial functions to support the family’s broader goals. We operate with a nimble and results-oriented team and are looking for an exceptional candidate who not only brings strong experience and interest in venture capital, but is also eager to contribute across other business functions in a collaborative environment.Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Investor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise and passion for venture capital and growth equity, as well as demonstrated versatility to contribute across a broad range of investment strategies. This is a roll-up-your-sleeves role that blends investment responsibilities with operational support for the family office. You will work closely with senior team members while taking ownership of the entire deal flow process including sourcing, diligence, research, execution and ongoing portfolio management. You will also contribute to key areas such as be reporting, cash flow management, and ad hoc projects. The ideal candidate is resourceful, collaborative, and eager to take ownership across a wide range of responsibilities.Key Responsibilities:Deal flow & SourcingDevelop and lead investment theses that align with Bridge Ventures’ core focus areas.Proactively build new strategic channels for deal flow through relationships, networking, and technology platforms. The ideal candidate will come to the table with an existing network of VC contacts.Source, filter, and pre-qualify investment opportunities in high-growth-potential startups and private companies.Conduct market mapping, company analysis, and outreach to prospective opportunities.Preemptively engage companies who are looking to raise capital to help secure the firm’s allocation in investment rounds.Represent the family office at industry events and conferences to expand visibility and networks.Manage a dynamic travel schedule focused on attending networking events, portfolio company annual meetings, and engagements with potential investments. Proactively identify and recommend new networking opportunities to enhance the firm’s visibility and deal flow.Investment Diligence & ExecutionDevelop deep domain expertise in the technologies and business models within Bridge Ventures’ areas of interest (e.g., AI, software, tech-enabled businesses etc.).Lead and conduct in-depth market research, industry analysis, and due diligence on prospective investments.Develop comprehensive investment memos summarizing findings, investment risks, and recommendations.Build and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate potential investments, including ongoing evaluation of follow-on opportunities.Manage the execution of investment transactions, including deal structuring and documentation.Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including founders, co-investors, and advisors, to expedite the close of investments.Portfolio Monitoring & ReportingTrack portfolio company performance, KPIs, and milestones.Maintain consistent communication with CIO and investment team.Prepare regular portfolio reporting and performance updates for internal stakeholders.Learn and utilize Addepar for portfolio reporting, analytics, and data management.Maintain and update the family office’s internal database of portfolio companies and fund investments.Operations & Family Office SupportAssist with cash flow management, liquidity planning, and ad hoc operational projects.Support family office reporting, compliance, and special initiatives as needed.Contribute to projects that enhance the office’s systems, processes, and brand presence.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or CFA designation is a plus.4+ years of experience in venture capital/private equity (investment banking, consulting or operating experience at a startup is also valued).Highly proficient in financial modeling with advanced Excel skills.Strong analytical, research, and due diligence capabilities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proven ability to craft structured, persuasive memos.Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to excellence and the ability to effectively manage multiple investment and operational priorities.Interest in learning and leveraging technology platforms such as Addepar.A self-starter with the willingness to roll up your sleeves, be resourceful and contribute wherever needed.Demonstrated capacity to recognize emerging priorities within the family office and take initiative in developing effective solutions.Why Join Us:A unique opportunity to gain exposure to both private equity and venture capital within a family office setting.Hands-on involvement across sourcing, diligence, portfolio management, and operations.Direct collaboration with senior investment professionals in a lean, entrepreneurial environment.A long-term oriented platform with broad responsibilities and meaningful career development.
