We also collaborate with partners on the development of TransCon-based products in other therapeutic areas and markets. We are seeking a passionate Senior Associate to join our growing team. As a key member of the Ascendis Pharma team, you will play a crucial role in Global Logistics This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with cross-functional, global teams working together to achieve extraordinary results.You will join the Global Logistics team consisting of 5 colleagues, and report directly to Aske Engsbro-Jansson, Associate Directorwho is based in Hellerup. You will be based in Hellerup Your key responsibilities will be:Logistics Operations:Coordinate daily shipping activities and ensure timely collection and delivery of GxP shipmentsCommunicate clearly and accurately with third-party vendorsCompliance & Documentation:Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and shipping-documentationEnsure all transportation and storage activities comply with GDP and regulatory requirementsStakeholder Collaboration:Guide, train, and support colleagues on shipping procedures and requirementsResolve logistics issues with internal and external partnersContinuous Improvement:Track and report on key logistics KPIs (quality, delivery times, costs, efficiency)Identify and implement process improvementsQualifications and Skills:You have a minimum of 5 years' experience in Logistics, preferably within the biotech, pharmaceutical or other regulated industry (e.g., food, medical devices)  Furthermore, you have:Strong knowledge of international logistics, cold chain shipping, and GxP/GDP requirementsExperience with customs and VAT requirements, shipping documentation, and third-party logisticsProficiency in English and Danish (written and spoken)Solid skills in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft D365) is an advantageExcellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skillsKey competencies:You are a strong team player, analytical, and have a can-do attitude.
