Senior Authorised Person

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to support a large-scale data centre construction project in Austria. This is a critical role within a high-performance environment, suitable for a professional who brings deep technical understanding of electrical HV systems, strong safety leadership, and the ability to manage permitting and switching activities in line with strict client and regulatory standards.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the Senior Authorised Person for all HV/LV electrical systems on siteOversee and execute permit-to-work processes, switching schedules, and system isolationsEnsure the safe operation, energisation, testing, and commissioning of electrical infrastructureWork closely with contractors, engineering teams, and client representatives to ensure compliance with safety procedures and project specificationsReview method statements, risk assessments, and technical documentationProvide supervision, guidance, and assurance to authorised and competent persons on siteLead incident investigations and ensure corrective and preventative actions are implementedMaintain accurate documentation in accordance with client and industry standardsRequired Skills & ExperienceExtensive experience as a Senior Authorised Person within data centre, mission-critical, or large industrial construction environmentsStrong background with HV/LV electrical systems, switching operations, and safety rulesRecognised electrical qualification (e.g., apprenticeship, HNC/HND, degree, or equivalent)Deep understanding of high-risk electrical environments and associated safety regulationsAbility to work in a fast-paced, multinational project environmentStrong communication skills, with the confidence to challenge, lead, and influenceEnglish fluency required; German is an advantage but not essentialWhy This Role?Work on a state-of-the-art data centre buildLong-term contract with competitive daily ratesJoin a leading international organisation delivering high-profile critical infrastructureOpportunity to work alongside industry experts in an advanced technical environment
