Senior Backup Engineer - Commvault Platform

Here, prepare yourself to conquer your goals, while enjoying the journey.We are currently looking forSenior Backup Engineer – Commvault PlatformRequirementsResponsabilities:Administer and maintain enterprise-level backup and recovery environments using Commvault.Implement backup policies.Monitor and optimize backup job performance and storage utilization.Perform full and granular restores, including DR operations.Manage Commvault agents for Oracle, SQL, Postgres Server, and other enterprise applications.Coordinate patching, upgrades, and changes to the backup environment.Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to backup failures and performance.Collaborate with infrastructure, database, and security teams to ensure data protection standards.Document proceduresRequired Qualifications5+ years of hands-on experience managing Commvault environments (v11.x or newer).Strong Knowledge OfBackup policy and retention design.Restore procedures.Experience Windows and Linux operating systems.Solid understanding of database backups, including Oracle, Postgress, and SQL Server.English proficiency: B2 level or higher.Desired SkillsCommvault Certified Professional or Commvault Certified Engineer certification.Experience with cloud-based backups (Azure, AWS).Understanding of ITIL processes (incident, change, and problem management).Location:Lisbon, Braga, or Coimbra (hybrid)What do we offer?
