Serve as a key advisor to leadership, mentor junior analysts, and spearhead innovations in data processes and analytics frameworks.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and interpret complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement related to risk managementDesign, build, and optimize complex dashboards, reports, and data models using BI tools (e.g., Metabase) related to risk managementDesign, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Airflow, dbt and SQLProviding data to risk teams across various business lines to support operational and managerial decision-making regarding risk managementMonitor and maintain data quality, ensuring accuracy and consistency across systemsAnalyzing various business metrics, identifying trends and dynamics, to detect anomalies and their causesConduct in-depth analyses to uncover opportunities, trends, and risks, delivering clear recommendations to stakeholdersEnsuring the monitoring and detection of various types of fraud in iGamblingConducting analytics of fraudulent schemes, creating customer profiling and segmentation, with the goal of preventing high-risk scenariosConducting post-implementation analysis of the effectiveness of fraud detection and counteraction functionalityDeveloping the library of risk metrics and investigating their relationship with the company's business metricsOversee the maintenance and optimization of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutionsProvide mentorship and technical guidance to junior and mid-level BI analysts, fostering team growth and developmentKey QualificationsUniversity degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics or a related fieldsAt least four years of experience in a relevant position (iGaming, online products, e-commerce)Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze large datasets, knowledge in data discovering methodologyUnderstanding of metrics related to online business (risk, web, product, CRM, general financial)Experience with risk analysis is a strong plusStrong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and modelingExperience with dbt for data transformationsHands-on experience with Airflow for pipeline orchestrationProficiency in Python or R for advanced analytics and automationStrong project management skills with experience leading cross-functional initiativesExperience with Tableau and other BI instrumentsUpper-Intermediate English and Russian (spoken and written)Excellent presentation skills to effectively communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiencesKnowledge of data governance and regulatory compliance frameworksCompetences Strategic Thinking: Ability to align BI initiatives with organizational goals and long-term strategiesAnalytical Excellence: Mastery in interpreting complex datasets and providing clear, actionable insightsAttention to Detail: Ensuring high standards of data quality and accuracyCollaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to partner with stakeholders at all levels of the organizationInnovation: A proactive mindset to identify and implement new tools, processes, and methodologiesBusiness Acumen: Deep understanding of business operations and market trends to deliver impactful insights
