We’re hiring a Senior Bookkeeper who actually likes talking to clients.If you’re QBO-obsessed, love clean books, and enjoy helping business owners understand their numbers, this might be your next move.At Fiscal Performance Inc., based in Stoney Creek, ON, we support growing Canadian businesses with real-time bookkeeping, compliance, and hands-on support. We’re cloud-based, process-driven, and big on communication and clarity.We’re looking for a client-facing Senior Bookkeeper to be our Canadian “go-to” for training, questions, and more complex files.What you’ll doOwn a portfolio of bookkeeping clients in QuickBooks OnlinePerform full-cycle bookkeeping:Bank/credit card reconciliationsAP/ARMonthly closes and working papersHST and related filings (once books are complete)Lead client training sessions (QBO + supporting apps) and answer “how do I…?” questionsJoin review meetings to walk clients through their numbers in plain EnglishHelp with audit/CRA prep: pulling support, organizing backup, responding to information requestsCollaborate with our internal team to keep work moving smoothly and on timeDocument client-specific nuances in our workflow system so others can step into the file when neededThis is an in-office role in Stoney Creek with occasional local travel to clients, banks, etc. A reliable vehicle is required.What we’re looking for3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience (multi-client or firm experience is a plus)QuickBooks Online Advanced Certified (or willing to complete/renew quickly)Strong, clear communication skills:Comfortable on Teams and in-person with clientsAble to explain accounting concepts in simple languageSolid understanding of:Full-cycle bookkeepingHST/GST Basic payroll posting & year-end slips concepts (T4, etc.)Organized, detail-oriented, and follows checklists/SOPsAble to work in-office in Stoney CreekValid driver’s license and reliable vehicleNice-to-havesExperience in a bookkeeping or CPA firmExperience with workflow tools (e.g., ClickUp, Asana)Familiarity with document/receipt tools and client portalsWhat we offerSalary: $65,000–$70,000, depending on experienceBenefits packageTraining and support for tricky client questions and complex filesA supportive team that cares about both accuracy and client experienceOpportunity to grow into more review/advisory responsibilities over time
