Job DescriptionAs a Senior Design Manager within GC Hair Care, you will be instrumental in driving the strategic vision and elevated execution of packaging / Ecom / offline shelf designs for some of the most renowned brands in the industry, including H&S and Rejoice. This position demands a unique blend of hands-on design expertise, an in-depth understanding of branding principles, and a strong command of Adobe Creative Suite tools, coupled mastery of execution processes. We are seeking a proactive and innovative thinker who thrives on challenges and excels in creative problem-solving. This position reports directly to the Design director and is based in Guangzhou. Key Responsibilities 1.Elevate Creative Design Execution High quality hands-on design showcasing solid expertise in graphic design / package, understanding of design principles and brand identity to create impactful solutions. Deliver and adapt design systems—either Hands-on or through agency partners—to ensure brand consistency across all consumer touchpoints, including BPKV, contextual shot, ECOM, offline shelf , promotion pack, etc.Set visual direction via hands on development.Ensure highest quality work and efficiency in process management/output.Use AI tools to enhance agility - generate creative ideas or modify content assets.2.Print Expertise Good understanding & fast learning of print techniques in terms of package 2D Label and SSL(shrink sleeve).Collaborate with DDE and design agencies to develop design print proof that upholds brand integrity and quality standards. Ensure the consistent application of brand color palettes and assets across all packaging and marketing materials. 3.Project Management Time Management: Able to manage your time effectively to meet project Critical Path Schedule (CPS) , prioritize tasks, and balance multiple projects simultaneously and deliver consistent results. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate design ideas, provide updates, and collaborate with team members.Collaboration: Strong cross-functional team collaboration to drive impactful design initiatives Synchronize.Feedback and Revision Management: Receive and incorporate feedback from design director and lead team into design revisions efficiently.Problem-Solving: Developing creative solutions to design challenges and being able to adapt designs based on design brief / project requirements / constraints.Attention to Detail: Ensuring that all aspects of the design work are accurate and meet quality standards, which is critical in the design process.Job QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field. 5+ years of professional graphic design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design capabilities. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office, with a solid understanding of industry-standard tools. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and adherence to timelines. Should be able handle 4-6 projects in parallel, among which at least 2-3 projects are hands-on, the rest as contributor or lead in the process.Exceptional collaboration and teamwork skills, with a track record of influencing outcomes through a design-centered approach. Highly adaptable, with the ability to quickly embrace new information, processes, and technologies.
