Senior Business Analyst - Fintech

I'm currently partnering with a high-growth FinTech client in Berlin that is redefining how individuals and businesses interact with financial services. Backed by top-tier investors and led by a visionary leadership team, they are scaling rapidly across Europe and are now looking to hire a Senior Business Analyst to support their next phase of product and platform evolution.The Opportunity: This is a strategic role at the intersection of business, product, and technology. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders to shape digital financial products, streamline operations, and ensure regulatory alignment, all while contributing to a culture of innovation and agility.Key Responsibilities:Act as a trusted advisor to product and business leaders, translating complex requirements into actionable insights.Lead end-to-end business analysis across digital banking, payments, or lending products.Define and document business processes, user journeys, and functional specs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Compliance, Data) in an agile environment.Support regulatory readiness (e.g. PSD2, AML/KYC) and ensure compliance is embedded in product design.Drive continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making and stakeholder feedback.Ideal Profile:5+ years of experience in business analysis, ideally within FinTech, digital banking, or financial services.Strong understanding of financial products, APIs, and agile delivery frameworks.Experience working with tools like JIRA, Confluence, BPMN, and SQL.Excellent communication skills in English and German.A proactive, analytical mindset with a passion for digital innovation.What's on Offer:Competitive compensation package including equity options.Hybrid working model (3 days onsite in Berlin).A high-impact role in a fast-paced, VC-backed FinTech.Flat hierarchies, fast decision-making, and a collaborative culture.Personal development budget and clear growth path.Interested in learning more?
