About the role:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team in Melbourne, driving the translation of business needs into scalable, intelligent solutions for Helfie.ai — an AI-driven preventive healthcare platform.You will work at the intersection of business, technology, and healthcare innovation to shape the digital health operating system that empowers patients and providers alike.As a key member of the product team, you will lead requirement discovery and process analysis across multiple workstreams, collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and subject matter experts to ensure every delivery aligns with Helfie’s vision and user needs.Key Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation for new product features and enhancements. Develop and clearly communicate functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria to engineering and design teams. Ensure complete traceability between business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and test cases to maintain solution integrity, alignment, and compliance.Collaborate on features and projects with cross departmental internal stakeholders — including Product, Operations, Research, and Engineering — to elicit, prioritize, and validate business needs and ensure shared understanding across teams.Document and analyse current and future state business systems and requirements using tools such as Miro, MS Suite, and Atlassian Suite and design future-state user journeys, workflows and features that deliver measurable value.Work with architects and developers to define interface and data integration specifications across products.Support and enable the product backlog for assigned workstreams. Support backlog grooming, sprint planning, and requirement clarifications. Ensure traceability from business needs to technical implementation and final delivery.Support QA and UAT cycles by developing UAT test scenarios, validating requirements, and ensuring solutions meet acceptance criteria before release. Assist in change management, training documentation, and stakeholder communication to enable smooth adoption of new features and processes.Champion best practices in business analysis, contribute to standards and frameworks. Skills & Experience:This role requires someone who:Has 6+ years of SaaS / Enterprise platforms Business Analysis experience, preferably in healthcareBachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related fieldProfessional Qualifications in Business Analysis (CBAP, IIBA or equivalent) is highly desirable.Demonstrates strong experience in requirement elicitation, analysis, process and product design, user journey and workflow design, and stakeholder management.Has a solid understanding of Agile delivery practices and experience working in cross-functional teams.Can map and optimize complex end-to-end business processes and requirements and define technical integration specifications.Is comfortable facilitating brainstorming and other requirement elicitation sessions with key stakeholders, producing clear and actionable documentation, and ensuring delivery momentum.Possesses strong analytical thinking, structured communication, and attention to detail with the ability to interpret data and insights to validate requirements, identify trends, and support evidence-based decisions.Has prior exposure to large scale D2C mobile application development, enterprise level B2B/B2G solutions and healthcare information systems (highly regarded).Demonstrates the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision, managing priorities, BA deliverables, and stakeholder expectations while maintaining high standards of quality and accountability.Proficient in business analysis methodologies and tools such as Confluence, Jira, Miro, and MS Suite.Equal opportunity statementHelfie.ai is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
