We’re currently seeking a skilled professional to support a high-profile program and project management transformation initiative — driving better governance, visibility, and reporting across departmental projects.This role will suit someone with a passion for business process optimisation, stakeholder engagement, and system-enabled transformation. You’ll be working in a collaborative environment with senior leaders, project managers, and technical teams to shape and deliver a new Program & Project Management and Reporting Tool (PPMRT).🔍 About the Role📍 Location: Canberra or Brisbane (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite) 💰 Rate: $130 per hour + Super 🛡️ Clearance: Must be able to obtain Baseline (NV1 preferred) 📅 Duration: 6 months initially + 6-month extension optionYou’ll lead research, discovery, and requirements analysis activities to define and implement an enterprise PPM solution. The work will involve reviewing existing project frameworks, engaging stakeholders across multiple divisions, and producing key artefacts including discovery reports, business requirements, process maps, and recommendation papers.🔧 Key Skills & Experience✅ Business Analysis & Requirements Management – Lead scoping, requirements definition, and prioritisation for large initiatives. ✅ Business Process Improvement – Analyse, design, and optimise business processes using modern methods and tools. ✅ Business Modelling – Map current and future-state workflows to support solution design. ✅ Feasibility Assessment – Evaluate solution options and support business case development. ✅ Stakeholder Engagement – Collaborate effectively across business, PMO, and ICT functions. ✅ Documentation & Reporting – Deliver clear artefacts and communications for decision-making. ✅ Technical Awareness – Understanding of APIs, integrations, and product-based delivery methods.If you have proven experience in government transformation projects, PMO uplift, or implementing PPM / portfolio management systems, this is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a major national initiative while working with a high-performing team.📩 Interested?
