Based in Herston, Brisbane and working in close collaboration with clinicians and other research institutes, QIMR Berghofer is home to more than 600 scientists, students and non-research staff.About The Project Management TeamThe Project Management Office (PMO) provides institute wide project delivery support to enable the Institutes strategic and operational goals. The PMO leads process improvement and project governance across technology, research and operational portfolio's ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and aligned with the institute's priorities.Role Purpose / ResponsibilitiesApplications are invited for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join the Project Management Office at QIMR Berghofer. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and delivery of the data migration strategy for an in-flight project to upgrade our current on-premise Research Approvals and Compliance System to a SAAS solution.Key Responsibilities IncludeLeading business process analysis and documentation, including workshops, gap analyses and modelling.Identifying and implementing process improvements that increase efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction.Eliciting, analysing and validating business requirements for software, systems, data and processes.Supporting project delivery through effective stakeholder engagement, communication, and influence.Contributing to business process improvement policies, standards, and tools at the organisational level.About YouYou will bring:Tertiary qualifications or extensive experience in business process mapping and improvementExtensive experience contributing to multiple concurrent projects using contemporary frameworksExperience in developing a data migration strategy for conversion of legacy data to a cloud solutionStrong understanding of business analysis methods and successful software implementation experienceExcellent influencing and communication skill across a diverse stakeholder groupDesirableExperience in high-risk or regulated environments such as medical research or healthcareProfessional Business Analyst CertificationRemuneration: Salary range is $122,262 to $130,923 p.a. plus super and generous salary packaging.
