Senior Business Development Engineer

Key Accountabilities:Promote & Specify Glassrock solutions in projects with stakeholders.Identify projects’ needs & requirements through out one to one meeting with stakeholders or projects surveys & follow ups. Provide high levels of technical support, tools, simulations and project specification packs to architects to reinforce project specifications.Develop strong relationships with key architects & consultants with the view to forming trusting partnerships.Secure specifications are held by tracking the project from design phase to sales phase.Demonstrate technical support competencies to main contractors to reduce risk of downgrades & secure projects.Communicate internally with departments, to integrate solutions & provide technical support if needed. Participate in net-working events and seminars.Contribute and participate in regular follow-up meetingsConstant updating of CRM customer database and make additions where applicable.Record, track, update and manage projects in a timely fashion.Helps in identification of market need in order to create new opportunities.Understand the market, competitions to be aware of our selling points & position.Market research and analysis.Track product regulations, and new certification/testing requirements. Conduct necessary trainings, CPD presentations, …etc.Help to achieve department action plan, according to the company vision & strategy.Regular Reporting to the department Manager. Qualifications:Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:Must be a confident businessperson who has experience in getting products specified into construction projects and consultants. Excellent communication and presentation skills are vital for success in this role.3-5 years of experience in selling or specifying products for construction projects, with a proven track record at a well-reputed company in Egypt.Excellent English (Speaking, Writing and reading) Engineering bachelor's degree or science.Excellent command of business communication.Computer software competencies, including Microsoft Office SuiteA resident of Cairo is a must.Having a car is a must.Based location : Head office.
