Senior Business Development Manager – Supply Chain Finance (m/f/d)About the RoleHerita is building a digital platform that brings supply chain finance into the modern age. By replacing paper-based processes with a digital solution based on the Bill of Exchange, we unlock liquidity for manufacturers, suppliers, and their corporate customers.We are now looking for our first dedicated Business Development role to help drive customer acquisition and shape our go-to-market strategy. You will work closely with the founding team and play a key role in building commercial traction in the DACH region.Why This Role MattersYou’ll be joining at an early stage where your experience and perspective truly shape how we grow.This is a unique opportunity to:Build something new with entrepreneurial freedom — but without the risk of a founding role.Work directly with the founders and senior advisors who bring backgrounds from fintech, banking and the manufacturing industry.Play a pivotal role in the future of working capital optimization What We’re Looking ForWe’re seeking a motivated professional who understands how liquidity flows through supply chains — and who wants to make these processes simpler and more digital.Your background ideally includes:Completed banking apprenticeship (Bankkaufmann/-frau) or equivalent qualification like Bankbetriebswirt/-in.5+ years of experience in corporate banking, transaction banking, trade finance, factoring, or supply-chain-finance–related roles.Familiarity with working capital products such as reverse factoring, receivables financing, or supplier programs.A strong customer orientation and credibility when speaking to CFOs, Treasurers, and Finance Directors.Comfort with digital tools and a desire to work in a dynamic, growing environment with startup spirit (no fintech background required).Your ResponsibilitiesIdentify and engage target customers in the DACH region (corporates and mid-market companies).Present Herita’s supply chain financing solution and demonstrate its value for both buyers and suppliers.Manage the full sales process — from initial outreach and discovery to pilot onboarding.Collect and relay structured market feedback to inform product and go-to-market development.Support in building early partnerships with financial institutions, consulting firms, and associations.Who You AreA self-starter who takes ownership and enjoys responsibility.Professional, structured, and confident in executive-level communication.Excited to work in a small, focused team where your ideas shape the product and commercial direction.Fluent in German and English.What We OfferA front-row seat in an early-stage company redefining how trade finance works in Europe.Direct collaboration with founders and senior industry experts.Flexible working setup (remote / hybrid possible).Competitive salary with equity & performance-based incentives.
