The Senior Business Finance Analyst will be responsible for providing financial analysis and insights to support the decision-making process of the business. This role will be a key member of the Corporate Function team, specifically in the Finance department, and will report directly to the Head of Business Finance.Role And ResponsibilitiesThe candidate is expected to handle business finance responsibilities for Retail Banking ProductsCandidate should be Chartered Accountant/MBA with 3-5 years of experience in a similar role across consumer banking verticalsAssist in tracking key business variables, highlighting key business trends and risks on a monthly basis to senior managementPreferably from banking industry or financial services sectorPreparing the monthly product financials,MIS and dashboards , including detailed revenue and cost analysis, highlighting reasons for variances vs budgets/forecastsStrong analytical skills including proficiency in MS excel/MS Powerpoint/MS AccessMaintain the MIS parameters as per set guidelines and identify process improvements to streamline data collection and report generation processesGood understanding of banking industryHandle automation initiatives for processes currently being undertaken manuallyTeam playerMaintain accurate financial data and reports for submission to senior managementExpert technology skills will be an added advantageAssist in Budgeting and Forecasting requirements and submissionsAddress financial issues and inquiries in a timely mannerCapture and share best- practice knowledge amongst the teamLeverage in-house synergies through collaboration with internal stakeholdersKeep abreast with global market trends and competitor strategies in key marketsCreate an environment that promotes collaborative learning and collective ownership of responsibilitiesQualificationGraduation: Bachelor of Commerce (B.com) / Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) / Bachelor of Arts (BA) / Bachelor of Business & Insurance (BBI) / Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS)Post-Graduation: Master of Business Administration (MBA) / Master of Commerce (M.com) / Master of Arts (MA)Professional Qualification: Charted Accountant (CA)Experience: 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
