Senior Buyer - Indirect Commercial

EMEA Recruitment is working with a transforming FMCG business as it looks to hire a Senior Buyer for its HR, FM, Real Estate, and Travel categories.As Senior Buyer, you’ll be at the heart of Supply Chain operations - leading Procurement strategy, managing key supplier relationships, and delivering real commercial value.This is a high-impact role where strategic thinking meets operational excellence.You’ll lead sourcing initiatives, ensure supplier performance, and identify opportunities for cost optimization across a broad range of indirect spend categories.Responsibilities of the Senior Buyer: Develop and execute category strategies to deliver savings, value, and complianceManage the full sourcing process, from supplier selection through to contract managementBuild and sustain effective supplier partnerships to drive innovation and service improvementsAnalyze market trends and identify commercial opportunitiesPartner cross-functionally to support business goals and stakeholder requirementsMaintain robust and accurate Procurement documentation and reportingExperience required:Proven experience in Procurement or Sourcing roles, preferably in categories such as HR, FM, Travel, or Real EstateStrong negotiation skills and a strategic approach to supplier and stakeholder engagementTrack record of managing complex projects and delivering cost savingsExcellent communication and analytical skillsProficiency with Procurement tools and platforms (e.g. SAP Ariba or similar)Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related disciplineIf you are interested in applying for this Senior Buyer role, please register your interest using the link below.
