About The RoleWe’re looking for a skilled Senior Category Manager to lead the Floor Care & Environmental Care categories across Benelux and the Nordics (6 markets), working closely with the Head of Marketing. To nurture this dynamic and inclusive environment, we do not offer a regular hybrid working arrangement.Key Responsibilities About You Benefits Category Management & CommunicationsDevelop and execute marketing/commercial plans to drive KPIs (sales/share/brand).Shape long-term vision and commercial growth strategies, including new product development.Craft messaging and communications strategies in line with Dyson’s brand.Build relationships with PR/Comms to drive experiential marketing and earned media.Deliver integrated comms plans across all platforms.Define compelling performance claims with the claims team.Drive advocacy, thought-leadership, and accreditations initiatives. Market Strategy & ProjectsUse insights and market analysis to set strategic vision and plans.Champion the category in monthly/quarterly reviews, highlighting risks and opportunities.Partner with sales to create and deliver joint plans for all channels.Collaborate with OE Lead and PR to enhance owner experience and integrate earned media.Work with Insights to beat competitor activity and pioneer category strategies. Category P&L OwnershipOwn the category P&L, ensuring effective investment and budget allocation.Partner with finance and business teams to optimise spend and meet objectives.Work with the media team to translate strategy into impactful media plans. Product Ranging & ForecastingLead strategic category ranging and build principles/models for optimal market fit.Align with e-commerce/retail leads on ranging proposals and retailer plans.Ensure robust forecasting and stock management. Team LeadershipChampion the use of consumer insights within the team.Inspire, mentor, and manage team development and engagement.Develop talent and succession plans.5+ years’ experience in marketing/category management, including product launches.Experience in brand, product, and communications management; media/e-commerce a plus.Proven ability to challenge the norm and innovate.Effective communicator and influencer with strong presentation skills.Passion for marketing and market trends.Line management experience preferred; opportunities may arise.Strong analytical skills, including financial analysis and ROI measurement.Ability to plan and deliver strategic initiatives; willing to learn and collaborate.Articulate, confident, and a positive team player.Discount on Dyson products Company Pension scheme 29 days annual holiday plan Company Fitness plan EAP (Employee Assistance Programme) Life Assurance Plan Transportation allowance (0,23€/km regardless of the means of transport) Health Insurance – Medical Contribution Eye Examination & Computer Glasses Reimbursement* Please note: New employees to Dyson in the Netherlands commence employment on a 12-month, fixed-term basis*Dyson is an equal opportunity employer.
