Senior Category Manager, Technology Procurement

Title: Senior Category Manager, Technology ProcurementLocation: SingaporeAbout the Role:Our client is an SGX listed company and a market leader in their sector. They have diversified business and have expanded internationally.They are currently looking to hire a Senior Category Manager, Technology Procurement to be part of the Global Procurement organization.Responsibilities:· Formulate and develop Information Technology procurement strategies, including preparing, negotiating, and implementing strategic sourcing strategies to maximize value and increase savings.· Lead global supplier development initiatives to strengthen partnerships and drive continuous improvement.· Execute procurement strategies by managing the end-to-end procurement process, including supplier selection, contract negotiations, and supplier performance management.· Drive cost reduction initiatives through effective category management and strategic sourcing.· Develop and maintain strong relationships with global suppliers to optimize supplier performance and mitigate risks.Requirements:· Bachelor’s Degree with at least 10-12 years experience in Category development and strategic sourcing roles, past or current experience in IT or ICT related categories would be an advantage· Proven track record of successfully developing and executing procurement strategies to drive savings and improve profitability.· Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with a deep understanding of supplier relationship management.· Proficiency in procurement tools and systems, with a solid understanding of procurement best practices.· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.Interested?
