Discuss development requirements with the development team and educate the team about new materials. Parallelly work with teams in different locations on different projects. Researching new and existing materials and assessing their suitability for use Analyze and give the best assumptions on competitor products. Running computer models for material compatibility Analyzing data to identify opportunities to improve Give expertise input to develop products Providing accurate cost figures for materials Consulting with open innovation project Keeping up to date with technological and legal developments Ensure that the highest standards of integrity are applied to all activities conducted at the R&D Test Lab Wear PPE inside the lab as appropriate for the tests being performed and strictly align to the Chemical Safety precautions inside the Chemical Lab. What will you bring to Ansell? Degree in an engineering subject (mechanical, chemical, biochemical engineering, Textile, Polymer) or a science subject (physics, chemistry, biology, biochemistry). MSc or similar qualification in material science. Completion of research projects ( 1-2) PhD related to material science subject matters will be an additional qualification. 5 years’ experience in industry or Academics.
