Senior Civils Estimator – IrelandSalary: €75,000 per yearWe are recruiting for a well-established international operations and engineering services provider delivering large-scale civil, utilities, and modular construction projects across Ireland and the UK. The company is recognised for its strong technical standards, safety culture, and long-term partnerships with leading public and private sector clients.Role Overview:The Senior Estimator will be responsible for developing fully costed, analytical estimates for a range of civil engineering, utilities, and modular construction projects. The role requires close collaboration with internal departments and engagement with clients throughout the tender process to ensure pricing accuracy, risk management, and project profitability.Key Responsibilities:Review and analyse scopes of work, drawings, and tender documentation.Develop detailed first-principles cost estimates aligned with client BOQs.Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.Coordinate with internal teams including Construction, Commercial, and Quality.Participate in risk reviews and prepare supporting reports.Liaise with clients during clarification and negotiation stages.Prepare project handover documentation for operations.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Economics.Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar estimating role.Strong understanding of technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents.Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills.Familiarity with Conquest Estimating software is an advantage but not essential.Package and Benefits: The company offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes a pension plan and life assurance, maternity pay, and access to an employee assistance programme.
