We are proud to have long-lasting partnerships with our clients.Scale: With more than 1,500 colleagues, we operate across 20+ countries, our scale enables us to support our clients globally and locally, providing a seamless client experience across borders and service lines.What’s In It For YouCompetitive salaryWe are globally hybrid (please check the specifics for this role during interview process)Flexible working hoursPrivate Pension Plan fully paid by the company after probationPrivate medical insurance with Catastrophe cover fully paid by the companyEmployee recognition program and spot bonusesJob DescriptionPurpose of the JobProvide client administration services to a varied portfolio of clients based essentially in the UAE for which Ocorian provides services to / intends to service, under the supervision of the Manager and / or Unit Head in accordance with the UAE regulations and in strict adherence to the procedures and processes of Ocorian.Main ResponsibilitiesAttend to client queries on a daily basis and ensure that all emails are replied within 24 hoursPrepare resolutions, minutes, board meetings and AGMPrepare agenda, board packs and action notes for board meetingPrepare documents for various corporate statutory changes with the various authorities in the UAEPrepare bank account opening documentsPrepare transfer instructions and checklists and ensuring that risk screening is done on the concerned partiesLiaising with bank regarding bank account opening and other related mattersPrepare employment and dependent visa applicationReview KYC received from client to ensure that it is in line with Ocorian group standardSubmission of financial statements to the UAE authoritiesApply for lease and license renewal with the UAE authoritiesPrepare liquidation documentsArrange for filings as per the UAE legislations (ESR, AML, UBO, etc)Apply for DIFC willSubmission of VAT returns and VAT refund with the UAE tax authoritiesPrepare loan and other agreementsApply for Tax Residence CertificateAssisting the Manager for the completion of various projects as may be required by the UAE teamOther administration workQualificationsA first degree in Law, Management, Finance or related field; andICSA or ACCA or any professional qualification related to the Global or financial sector would be an advantage.Knowledge/Skills/ExperienceHave a minimum of 3 years of working experience in the financial services sector.Knowledge of financial services legal and regulatory requirements;Knowledge of various structures and licenses in the financial services sector (GBL, Funds, Trusts, special activity licenses etc)Knowledge of platforms used by authorities and institutions in relation to statutory filings;Microsoft Office Proficiency;Fluent in French and English;Good communication skills;Ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure, while maintaining close attention to detail;Excellent team player; andCompetenciesCommunication;Coaching;Interpersonal Relationship;Problem Solving & Analysis;Coping with Pressure and Setbacks; andLearning & Researching.Additional InformationAll staff are expected to embody our core values that underpin everything that we do and that reflect the skills and behaviours we all need to be successful.
