This is an opportunity to work within a team that provides high-level specialist support to the Minister and Director-General on the department’s complex Cabinet, Executive Council, Parliamentary and Legislative agendas. This position is to provide advice, coordination and support services with respect to Cabinet and Parliamentary matters.As a Senior CLLO You WillAssist the CLLO Manager and team through the provision of high-level specialist support of activities in relation to Cabinet, Executive Council and Parliamentary Services and other Government business.Coordinate departmental responses to discussion papers circulated by other agencies and Regional Community Forums, as well as briefing notes on departmental issues for the Premier and Governor.Assist in coordinating Parliamentary briefing material, responses to Questions on Notice, petitions and other documentation for the Minster's attendance at Parliament.Manage the secure storage, handling and dissemination of Cabinet Submissions and Decisions and Executive Council Minutes in compliance with relevant guidelines.Maintain knowledge of Government policies, procedures and processes including the Cabinet, Legislation and Executive Council Handbooks, when preparing Cabinet, Parliamentary and other Government business.Monitor and quality control all correspondence and other material forwarded to the Minister and the Director-General to ensure high quality documents are delivered in a timely manner and that they adhere to standard procedures for the preparation of these documents.Undertake other work as directed by the CLLO Manager.Occupational group Administration
