Job DescriptionJoin us and drive the energy revolutionWe are looking for a collaborative Senior Cloud Operations Expert who thrives in a mixed cloud/on-prem environment and wants to help design and maintain a resilient, efficient, and secure infrastructure, powering some of the most innovative energy trading technologies and actively contributing to the energy transition.Please note that this position requires you to visit our office in Vienna occasionally due to the networking components in the office.Redefine "automation" in energy tradingAs part of our dedicated team of experts, you will:Be a key member of the cloud operations team, driving on-premise and AWS-based infrastructure servicesMonitor system security, availability, and performance across platformsImplement operational best practices for backups, disaster recovery, patching, and security hardeningCreate and optimize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deploymentsCollaborate closely with information security and software engineers in cross-functional teamsRequirementsHow you fit into the teamYou want to participate in the transition to clean energy actively, andHave at least three years of experience in hybrid-cloud operationsHave exposure to compliance and security frameworks (e.g., ISO27001, SOC 2)Solid understanding of networking, security groups, VPNs, and firewall configurations (Fortinet expertise is a plus)Strong experience with Linux Server Administration and handling infrastructure as a service at our hosting providersAble to manage AWS-related services & technologies and their applications (VPC, ECS, RDS, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc.)“Infrastructure as code" is no stranger to you (e.g., AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Serverless Framework, AWS Copilot)Are fluent in EnglishHave a detail-oriented and structured way of working, coupled with a hands-on mentalityWhat more insights?
