Our client, a publicly listed technology leader, is seeking a Sr Finance Commercial Analyst to support financial planning, analysis, and commercial decision-making across its fast-growing Asia Pacific operations. This is a key regional role that combines strategic partnership with hands-on execution, driving business performance and ensuring sound financial management across multiple markets.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Partnering & Commercial InsightCollaborate with regional business and functional leaders to provide financial insights that drive growth, efficiency, and profitability.Support strategic and operational decisions through detailed financial modelling, scenario analysis, and business case development.Provide value-added analysis on key performance indicators, pricing, margins, and cost structures to support commercial initiatives.Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)Manage budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking for the Asia Pacific region.Consolidate and analyze financial results, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.Partner with business teams to monitor revenue trends, operating expenses, and capital investments.Financial Management & GovernanceEnsure accuracy, compliance, and consistency in financial reporting across multiple countries.Liaise with local finance teams to ensure timely month-end close, statutory filings, and alignment with corporate accounting standards.Maintain strong financial controls and risk management practices across the region.Process Improvement & Systems EnhancementDrive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and reporting efficiency.Contribute to automation, standardization, and data integrity initiatives.Stakeholder EngagementAct as a trusted advisor to regional business heads, providing proactive financial guidance.Collaborate closely with Group Finance and other regional controllers to ensure alignment on performance objectives and reporting standards.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; professional qualification (CPA, CA, or ACCA) preferred.Minimum 7–10 years of financial experience, ideally in FP&A, commercial finance, or business partnering within a multinational environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.Proven experience influencing non-finance stakeholders and supporting strategic decision-making.Solid knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax, and compliance across Asia Pacific.Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday) and advanced Excel or BI tools.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and cultures.Fluent in English; proficiency in an additional Asian language is an advantage.Occasional regional travel required.Why JoinOpportunity to partner with senior business leaders in shaping regional performance strategy.Exposure to a fast-growing, innovation-driven technology environment.A dynamic, collaborative culture that values initiative, curiosity, and continuous improvement.Strong career growth potential within a publicly listed global organisation.
