You will be part of a dedicated and skilled commissioning team within our Grid Integration business - Nordic Cluster (Finland, Sweden and Denmark). As a commissioning engineer, you are accountable for pre-commissioning and commissioning activities in our projects (e.g. HV substations for utilities, industry, data centers, etc.). Besides site commissioning activities, role could involve planning and management of external commissioning resources, tendering support for commissioning activities, FAT support, etc.Variety of projects that we have within all three countries, as well as variety of commissioning and engineering tasks, gives you opportunity to have very good balance between office and site works, travelling, and your private life.We are interested to learn more about you and what you can contribute with, so don’t hesitate to apply even though you don’t meet all requirements.How You'll Make An ImpactPerform the testing and commissioning of HV & MV Substations, including HV/MV switchgears, power and aux transformers, AC & DC auxiliary systems, control & protection systems, etc.Take part in pre-commissioning meeting, commissioning planning activities and documentation preparation (e.g. FAT documentation, Site ITPs & ITRs, Method Statements, Control programs, etc.).Organize and perform FAT of C&P equipment in our test lab.Follow the instructions of electrical safety and other HSE instructions in accordance with Hitachi/customer requirements.Coordinate and plan on-site commissioning activities, including internal and external resources managementSupport tendering by providing commissioning plan and time/cost estimation.Act as commissioning leader/manager in particular projects, if appointed.Your backgroundA bachelor’s degree or above in electrical engineering or similar.A few years of working experience with testing and commissioning of MV & HV substations.Competence in testing & commissioning of switchgears and other key components/apparatus in substations.Experience in settings/configuring and testing of the relay protection (e.g. RET series, or other vendors IEDs).Overall experience in substation projects, from tendering, engineering or site commissioning.Experience in commissioning of data centers substations is a strong plus (e.g. Microsoft, Google, Apple).You are fluent in English written and spoken alike. A good knowledge of Swedish language is a strong plus, as well as Finnish/Danish languages.Are you ready for an exciting new challenge? Does the above description sound like you?
