GCPHN is building ‘one world-class health system for the Gold Coast’—and we know we can’t do it alone.What We OfferRemuneration package of $104,271 - $117,137 + SuperFull-time fixed-term contract until 30 June 2027 with possible extension.Flexible work arrangements that support work-life balance, including hybrid working optionsSalary packaging (Fringe Benefit Tax exemptions) up to $15,900 p.a. + $2,650 p.a. meal and entertainment5 weeks annual leave per year, paid parental leave, plus annual CPI salary increasesExceptional organisational reputation with established relationships in primary health careBenchmarked ‘Soaring’ workplace culture, with a supportive and collaborative teamConvenient location at Robina (Gold Coast) with free onsite parkingAbout The RoleAs the Senior Communications Coordinator, you will:Provide senior-level communication counsel and implementation across the organisationSupport the planning and delivery of integrated communications, marketing and media strategiesDrive awareness and engagement with GCPHN programs, services and strategic prioritiesSupport and develop the Communications team through guidance and feedbackLead GCPHN’s publications, including planning, writing, editing, design and distributionStrengthen GCPHN’s digital channels, brand and messaging through high-quality, consistent and engaging content and storytellingCoordinate media relations by preparing media releases, pitching stories and supporting spokespeople and media eventsBuild and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholdersTrack, analyse and report on communications performance to support continuous improvementEligibility CriteriaEssentialTertiary qualification in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing or health promotion and/or minimum of three years equivalent experienceExperience guiding and developing team membersAdvanced editorial and professional writing skills, with the ability to adapt content for diverse audiences and channelsProven experience in planning, writing, designing and producing publicationsStrong media relations experience, including pitching, responding to enquiries and supporting spokespeopleExperience delivering digital and multichannel communications, including content development, social media management and website updatesStrong conceptual thinking, excellent attention to detail and high editorial standardsDemonstrated ability to measure, analyse and report on communications performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvementProven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and adapt to changing prioritiesAbility to build rapport and strong working relationships with a broad range of stakeholdersProficiency using CMS platforms, email marketing tools, social media tools, Canva, Google Analytics, Microsoft Office and related platformsDesirableExperience with Meta Ads Manager and/or Google AdsPhotography, videography and basic editing skillsGraphic design skills (Adobe Creative Suite)Experience within primary health care or not-for-profit settingsExperience writing for behaviour change, public health communication or communicating complex health informationHow To ApplyTo apply, please submit a cover letter addressing the selection criteria along with your current resume.
