Job Description for Compliance Senior AssociateSummary:Our client, a prominent asset management and insurance holding company with approximately $72 billion in assets under management, is seeking a Compliance Senior Associate with deep MAS regulatory knowledge and stable professional tenure. The ideal candidate thrives in a hands-on compliance role, enjoys engaging with regulators, and brings a strong mix of regulatory and legal expertise, preferably from top-tier financial institutions or professional services (e.g., Big 4 firms).Roles and Responsibilities:Liaise closely with MAS and other relevant authorities on regulatory submissions and queries.Maintain and renew licenses and ensure all MAS filings and documentation are current and accurate.Support the management of outsourced legal and compliance providers; act as a key contact point for regulatory inquiries and third-party engagements.Work cross-functionally with internal legal and ops teams to maintain alignment on regulatory standards.Requirements:8+ years of compliance experience with strong employment stability.Proven track record of handling MAS compliance and licensing requirements.Prior exposure to both legal and regulatory domains strongly preferred.Experience in a Big 4 firm or well-structured compliance/audit environment is a strong advantage.Passion for hands-on compliance work and working closely with regulators.Excellent documentation and communication skills.
