Senior Consultant / Manager - GFDO - MM & Procurement (Remote - Malaysia)🔹 Location: KL/EMEA (EMEA work hours)🔹 Duration: Permanent / contract 🔹 Position: Senior Consultant / Manager (L4 Manager or equivalent)🔹 Industry: Data Migration & SAP ECC🔹 Job Type: Hybrid / RemoteAbout the Role:As a Global Functional Data Owner (GFDO), you will act as the global focal point for your data objects in scope for migration, partnering with various stakeholders across the organization, including Global Template BDOs, Functional Streams, Data Migration Developers, Legacy Experts, and more. You will drive the data migration processes and ensure readiness for deployment through strong collaboration and guidance.Key Responsibilities:Global Data Ownership: Act as the main point of contact for your data objects throughout the migration process.Data Migration Tools: Collect functional specifications for data migration tools and provide test data sets for migration tool testing and validation.SAP ECC Guidance: Provide guidance on SAP ECC standard extractions, ensuring smooth data flow across systems.Templates & Scripts Ownership: Own global templates/scripts, such as FSs (DDT), SATs, and DVSs for your objects, including validation and verification approaches.SAT Testing: Review and approve SAT testing of data migration tools.Data Readiness & Cleansing: Guide business teams on data readiness and cleansing based on technical requirements.Defect Resolution: Review and confirm testing of defect resolutions related to the design of global template data migration tools.Knowledge Transfer: Facilitate knowledge transfer to deployment/local Functional Data Owners for their objects.What We’re Looking For:Experience: Proven experience in SAP ECC and data migration projects.Skills: Strong understanding of MM & Procurement data management, SAP migration tools, and business data readiness.Leadership: Ability to manage global teams and collaborate across regions.Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with both technical and business teams.Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve complex data migration challenges efficiently and effectively.Why Join Us:Flexible Working: Enjoy the freedom of remote work with the opportunity to collaborate with global teams.Growth Opportunities: One-year contract with the possibility of extension.Dynamic Environment: Work with cutting-edge technologies and be part of a highly skilled team.📩 Interested or know someone perfect for this role?Let’s connect!
