Job Description
Key Responsibilities:Lead the preparation and submission of tender documents for infrastructure projects, including technical, commercial, and contractual sections.Review client-issued tender documents (RFPs, RFQs, ITTs) and identify key contractual risks and opportunities.Coordinate with internal departments (engineering, estimating, planning, procurement, legal) to ensure accurate and compliant bid submissions.Support cost estimation teams by providing contractual input, verifying BOQs, and ensuring clarity in scope and pricing.Conduct pre-bid meetings, site visits, and liaison with clients, consultants, and subcontractors for clarifications and negotiations.Evaluate and incorporate subcontractor and supplier proposals into the main bid package.Ensure that all tender submissions comply with local authority requirements, safety regulations, and industry standards.Assist in contract negotiation and finalization with clients post-award.Maintain accurate records of tender documentation, correspondences, clarifications, and revisions.Provide input during contract execution and change management phases, when required.Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.Minimum 08 years of experience in tendering and contract management within the infrastructure/construction industry.Strong knowledge of standard contract forms (FIDIC, bespoke, government contracts).Proven experience in preparing and managing large-scale infrastructure project tenders.Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and contract management tools.
