We aim to deliver safe and sustainable projects and services for our clients in different fields.This job offers an exciting and technically advanced approach to value added quality control on a wide range of EPCm projects.ResponsibilitiesWhat makes you remarkable?Conduct of pre - contract and post - contract work activities in line with the established Corporate policies and proceduresProvide support to the Lead Contracts Engineer in the preparation of contracting plans and strategies to meet the requirements of the projectDevelopment of contractors list, perform prequalification as necessary, and development of bidders list per contract package, if the Lead Contracts Engineer is not on - board yetCarry out pre - contract and post - contract activitiesEnsure completeness of Projects’ Construction Contracts records and co - ordinate statistical feedback and data gatheringMake sure that Construction Contracts are maintained and archived in accordance with Corporate and / or project file retention policyManage and provide input into the subcontract score card for project control reportingQualificationsDegree in Civil, Mechanical Engineering or equivalentMin 7 years relevant experience within engineering or construction industries working on Oil & Gas or other heavy industrial projects, or similarDemonstrable commercial skills and knowledge of contracting methods, contract forms, drafting terms and conditions etc.An understanding of the basic principles of contract lawKnowledge of contracts administration and tendering processesExperience from working on large international construction projects (preferably including overseas travel)Quantity Surveying Qualification preferredAn advanced understanding of the challenges and risks associated with an effective EPC project execution with appropriate mitigation strategiesCommercial skills and knowledge of contracting methods, contract administration, contract forms, etc.Able to determine full cause and effect' of reasons for delay and determine how this impacts contractor performanceAble to communicate clearly with clients and contractors complex technical and commercial issuesAbout UsWood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
