You’ll be responsible for overseeing contracts with our vegetation service providers, ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant delivery of all vegetation activities. This includes managing contract renewals, negotiating rates, and ensuring our contractors meet the highest standards for safety and performance.What sets this role apart is the opportunity to influence operational change and set up new processes in a critical area for Vector. You’ll tackle the challenge of rapidly growing vegetation impacting network reliability, making a tangible impact on customer safety and service continuity. You’ll also be involved in high-value contracts and contribute to strategic decisions, giving you a real say in how we deliver for Auckland and beyond.You’ll spend most of your time in the office, with regular field visits to conduct audits, meet with contractors and our customers.
